Is it slotted in between two units? If so make sure it hasn't moved and rattling of the units.

allways been noisy. its not touching anything or moving?

If the surface is uneven that it is standing on, it unbalances it and can be noisy

what do you mean at what?

obviously you switch the appliance off and unplug and it and take a look inside. it isnt going to make a noise if it is off now is it?

maybe the motor has lodged away from the bracket that holds it or the weight inside the machine has moved slightly.

if you do not know what you are doing...

go to a search engine and look for forums which specialise with this product or call an engineer out to take a look. ==

My washing machine becomes noisy during the spinning process.
This problem can occur when the washing machine stands on an uneven surface. If so, adjust the legs of your washing machine. If the clothes are not loaded properly into the tub, the washing machine can become noisy. If so, turn off the washing machine and spread the clothes properly on the tub before resuming the wash.

sorry just found this but you are already going to check it

I was going to say this as we had a brand new washing machine that was also REALLY noisy and it turned out my OH and his mate hadnt removed them when the fitted it it really is worth checking that out as we removed them and problem solved!

I think the transport screws will be out otherwise the machine wouldn't have been working for a year.
#21
hit it with a hammer
if that fails, get a bigger hammer  HTH

most do work with transport screws in from my experience with them. had many washing machines returned to our store for being too noisy and 9/10 hadnt removed the screws.

tell the mrs to stop sitting on top of it during the spin cycle?

unscrew the legs at the front and make it steady/even or get some rubber feet

The law is simple.
Any item you purchase has to be of merchantable quality and fit for purpose.
If you have had this machine for just over one year and I assume the "standard" guarantee of one year is up it makes no difference.
What make is it, make sure you are not doing anything stupid like overloading or operating it on an uneven floor.
Go back to the shop from where it was purchased and quote to them the law as stated above which is very clear.
Write an intellegent letter to the manufacturers Sales and Marketing Director laying out your complaint.
All of this information is contained within a copy of the Which magazine taht should be quite easy to get hold of if not contact your local Trading Standards Office with all the details and quote this message. Good Luck
