Nokia Lumia 710 smashed screen – Do I need LCD or Digitizer or both?

  Not yet had a chance to open a 710 but if its a glued touchscreen, I would always get one that is together rather than separates.
  For me, most of the time it is the glue that results in a fixed phone or not not to mention the time taken to take it apart whereas you could just simply pop a complete new unit in

  Actually scrap what I just said... this phone does seem like the lcd sits on the digitiser
  As long as it's just the screen that is smashed, I would just get that
  
  If it's just the digitiser that's gone, then just get your one in the link which is fine

  I will take it apart tonight and check the LCD.
  
  This video was good and suggests that It all comes apart with a bit of heat :)
  
  In fact, this video makes me feel a lot more confident :)

  smashed, what did you do in the end? I have the same problem with my Nokia 710.
