Jesus Christ! I am taking that week off work just to prepare, Kathryn Winnick is stunning and would give Brienne of Tarth a right kick in the baby maker!

Had forgotten about Dr Who, still unsure whether I will watch it as I really don't like Capaldi as the Doctor, he was great in Musketeers last series, but for me he just isn't the Doctor
#29
True Detective season 2 might be worth a watch, despite Colin Farrell & Vince Vaughn.

Also looking forward to Wayward Pines link

Given what, I presume, is your birth year, you will have missed the first four, five, possibly even six portrayals of the character (if you watched any of the "Classic Who" at all, of course).

Peter Capaldi is very much "The Doctor", & his own character too.

Join our thread, & disagree further, if you wish...

Isn't there supposed to be a "Luther" cinema release (prequel story) movie first?

Apparently, there are going to be two special episodes, according to the BBC back in November.

clicky

There was a "prequel" which could have been made into a film that was talked about in 2013 for filming in 2014, but nothing seems to have come of it. So maybe this 2 part drama is instead of a film?

Neil Cross, writer and creator of Luther, said viewers would be eager to find out what happened to the character next, who was last seen in July 2013.

"Ever since we said goodbye to John Luther on Southwark Bridge, there's hardly been a minute when I didn't wonder what happened next. So I decided to find out.

The popular series will begin filming around London in March and will be screened later in 2015.
---

To be fair, I would be happy to leave the character/story where it ended there... & then wait 10-15 years & reunite the cast for a new series.

"Less is more", etc.

There is also talk of a spin-off series featuring "Alice". Something I would be all for seeing as I thought her character was brilliant.

Yes, that was touted very soon after the last episode of the third series had aired.

Not quite sure how that would play-out though.

Serial killer... criminally-insane super-villain... or just femme fatale?
