Hi-just after a bit of advice.

Bought a Wii and it comes with Wii sport.

My friend says i need another nunchuck to play tennis etc (rather than the one it comes with)-would this be helpful...............and do i need to get another controller too?

Thanks for your help.

The items that come with the Wii are all that you really need to play the wii sports, no additional controllers should be required unless you want to play 2 player. a Nunchuck on its own is not much use as it requires a controller to connect to. hope that this helps thank you

You only need another Nunchuck if you are going to play 2 player boxing (as well as another Wiimote). However, you will need another Wiimote to play 2 players on the other games. Best bet is to go out and buy Wii Play as this comes with a Wiimote. HTH

thanks for your help-am i right in thinking waht you are saying is a nunchuck is no use on its own?

It comes with Wii Play-so i don't really need it again-but if we want to play 2 player (its for the family to use) do we need to buy both a new controller and nunchuck?

Sorry to be so dopey with this-i am not very technical !

Yes, a nunchuck is no good on its own.

For 2 people to play together, the minimum requirement is 2 Wiimotes.
Some games do require nunchucks as well, for example, Boxing. :)

Yes thats about the long and short of it, the Wii comes as standard with the equipment for playing 1 player, you would indeed need to purchase both the wii remote and nunchuck to play 2 player games as the nunchuck cannot be used on its own.

last question-what is Wii play-and is it worth getting? Is that the cheapest way to get the bits to play 2 player?

thanks again-glad someone knows what they are doing!

Wii play is the best way to get an extra wii remote as you get a new game in with the price however you would still need to buy an additional nunchuck, I think this is a good price for wii play

If you still want to buy a nunchuk on its own, I bought mine from Zavvi at £13.

However their website isn't allowing any orders to be processed as their main supplier of goods was Woolies!

Their stores are still pretty well stocked though!
