O2 contract coming to end. Need advice

I have been with O2 for over 5 years and currently getting the current offer

600 mins
500 txt
unlimited internet
unlimited landline
contract usual price is £35 but I get loyalty discount of £15, so I pay only £20 a month for the deal ( The contract was for 18 months and prefer that or 12 months rather than 24 months)
Currently I have a XDA serra or HTC touch pro

My contract comes to end in 2 months time, but i can upgrade from the beginning of next month. I know that O2 does not have the HTC desire yet.

Any advice. I use the outlook, excel, sync and teeting funtions on my phone

Many things to any and everyone for giving their advice

My contract comes to an end at the end of this month.

I have had a call from o2 and also done some research on here and MSE and apparently, the discount that we all used to get is coming to an end too and can no longer be given.

I used to be on o2 45 (with £15 discount) - £30.00
1200 mins, 1000 texts, unlimited bb and unlimited o2 to o2

now they want £47.00

Simplicity it is..

Yep, my contract was up around march, called o2 to upgrade and they wouldn't entertain continuing the £15 discount if I was to get a new phone, they did however say that if I was to just continue the contract without upgrading the discount would 'likely' continue, i.e. there's no guarantees.

I'm with t-mobile now....

I have been with O2 for years and have had a very poor conversation today with customer services about my upgrade. I am now off to Orange

My OH's contract came up in January and they would offer no discounts on line rental at all! So I switched her onto vodafone where they gave 25% discount on line rental straight away. Seems like O2 want to all customers to pay full line rental!!!

Or you could just change networks. Why stay loyal to a network that doesn't value their customers? O2 are outrageous.

02 have been doing this for nearly a year now, I upgraded successfully in March last year, came to do my mum's in May and 02 were just offering nothing. We ended going with 02 through phones4u and got a good ish deal. I'll be going with Tesco for an Iphone once my contract is up. 02 must be losing customers in their droves!!

thats because I took advantage of the quidco deal at the beginning of this month
(£200 cashback on a 12 month simplicity contract)

I got a £10 discount in my second year with O2 on a 12 month contract so £35 tariff for £25. When the 12 months was up I thought it would roll over but the £10 discount did not so I went onto the iPhone. Anyway I can upgrade my iPhone contact from the 20th April and then be out of contract on the 20th May.

I think I shall be going on to simplicity for iPhone 1 month £20 (300mins & unlimited texts)

No doubt eventually the battery will fail and it will need replacing but hopefully by then Apple will bring out a new 4th gen iPhone and the contracts will be more reasonable for the handsets.
