I do not know the absolute answer to this question but common sense should be that you should not be able to get out of the contract as it is you that is moving from the address that the phone was "taken out" at.

Maybe e-mail them and tell them you are illiterate and couldn't read the contract,
going by your posts it shouldn't be too far fetched.

It must be broke.

There are no 'get out's'. Moblie contracts have been around far too long for there to be any left.

As you've moved, you've changed the terms of the contract which isn't the networks fault. They don't give a 100% coverage guarantee. So it's either put up with it or pay it off.

iPhones tend to spell things correctly though - something I think Apple were adamant in keeping when streamlining the features.

Set up a voicemail message explaining you get no signal at home, and give your landline number. So then people will still be able to get through to you, and when you're out and about - away from the village - you should get O2 signal.

£1000 buy out? WTF have you got?

Can't you soften the blow by downgrading the tariff?
#15
Speaking to 02 and that was they said downgrade but if I downgrade I won't get any Internet at all I have to buy a bolton to get the Internet if I do that it will be much the same as what I have got tarif lol they seem to have you covered at all ends lol

Err I have a iphone 4 gig at £45pm and a iphone 3GS 16gig £45pm

The buy out is £1300 I asked them lol

Where is the post code of where you are moving to? Unless it's the wilds of Scotland I'd be amazed if you get no 2g coverage at all.

You're buying out the contract anyway so what the heck does it matter what tariff you end up on?
