O2 Goals - REMINDER TO CLAIM NOW - £20 / £25 cheque

As the World Cup is now over the O2 Goals site has been updated for the next part of this deal. As the original threads have now sunk from view this is being posted as a reminder for everyone who took part to get their claim in ASAP as you only have a few days to claim.

If you texted GOAL to get £5 for every goal England scored (3) then you will be pleasantly surprised to find O2 will payout £20 as they decided to allow Frank Lampards goal that wasn't allowed.

If you texted CONCEDE to get £5 for every goal England let in (5) then you should be able to claim £25.

If you are just finding out about this deal, then sorry but you are too late - this only applied to people who claimed for a SIM before the World Cup, and is only valid for goals scored / conceded after registering the World Cup SIM with the O2 Goals website and had topped up £15.

To Make you claim follow these steps:
1) Go to the O2 Goals website - https://www.o2goals.co.uk/default.aspx
2) Enter the phone number of your World Cup SIM
3) Enter your Unique Code - this is the one you were sent when you registered with the site to activate the deal. Forgotten your code? Text GOAL or CONCEDE to 66102 from your football SIM for a reminder.
4) Click continue and a personalised form will be generated. Print it off, fill it in and send it off to the address on the form.

If for whatever reason the address disappears from the O2 site here it is:
O2 Goals Promotion
Dept 5850
PO Box 99
Aylesbury
Bucks
HP19 8RR

FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 18 JULY 2010

O2 decided to allow Frank Lampard's goal that the ref failed to spot - O2 pays £5 for the goal that never was
#2
Thanks for the reminder!
#3
Just printed out my form :) and the extra £5 was a nice touch from o2 so kudos to them :D
#4
Thanks for the reminder! Also didnt know they were accepting Lampard's goal, great news :)
#5
Once I topped up the sim and entered the promo code I threw the sim away! Have just gone back to the site to try to claim and see you need to enter the mobile number and promotion code again to claim!

Oops! :(

no use to me,

but I'm sure a quite a few ppl have forgotten about it

so good for someone to post a reminder :)
#7
Although this isn't a deal as such, it's a useful reminder and I hope it doesn't get removed
#8
So if I'm reading correcting net profit will only be £5/£10?
#9
i did three sims
get credit
and make a profit
not bad :)

Looks like this has been shifted into Misc, has no heat in this section, and so will quickly disappear from view.

Any chance this could be moved to say Mobiles Freebies?

Given the short amount of time available to claim this deal people need to know about it in the next couple of days.

Why wouldn't you use the credit anyway?

Because I was already with o2 and didn't want to change numbers etc. I was going to use the £15 on the sim to buy downloads etc but couldn't find anything worth buying.

DAMN!

trying to claim but after inputting my codes, I get server errrors

wouldnt mind so much only that I have 5 days for claim form to reach them!
#18
When i topped up i used the £15 top up on bets - Didnt win anything
So i get a £15 cheque back so i havent made anything but i suppose its no loss is it for a bit of fun!
#19
O2 are paying for the goal that never was so you will be a fiver up :)

I did not know you could bet via text. I used £10 of the credit to top up my Fishtext account. Plus I got 100 free international minutes as I got the "Your Country" SIM. The rest of the credits I will use on 0871 numbers :p

It's telling me to "please enter a valid phone number" and "please enter a valid valid code".

I registered them originally as stated, anyone else having this problem? Who to call to sort it out?
#21
Text GOAL or CONCEDE to 66102 to get your original registration code and then find out what number your SIM was

Absolutely - did everything right, put in right codes and number and got an "exception error" - now everything comeing up as "invalid". I am sure a solution will be forthcoming as I reckon this is going to be a very common problem .. will keep you posted.
#23
tried entering mobile no & code & it gives me errors. any1 else had this problem?

working for me, i suggest you ring o2
#25
I was hopeful that o2 would do the nice bit of PR and pay out on Lampards goal :)

Only a week to get claims in folks!
#26
I have managed to d/l my claim form OK. I went back on the site and put in the wrong code on purpose and it will show errors - just double check your mobile no. on the SIM and the registration code before entering

Text GOAL or CONCEDE to 66102 to get your original registration code

I'm an idiot. The last character of my claim code had spilled over on the text message I received so I was entering it 1 letter too short. Sorted now. £4 profit here I come.
#28
got it, apparently i'd added an S to the end of code!

very quick support help btw - replied within 5 mins!

reckon its worth sending 2 forms in seperate envelopes just in case?

#34
If you've not done this already then tonight will be close to your last chance to do it. Get the form printed off tonight and in the post tomorrow to be sure it gets to O2 by the end of the week.
#35
I bet about 50% that signed up for it won't bother to submit their claims.
#36
^^ That's what they will be banking on. Putting the deadline for entries so tight to the date you can get the claims form, a lot of people will miss out.
