LOL first 3 with 3Like Home, now o2 joins the bandwagon........from tomorrow you can call & cancel you o2 !!
o2 are removing chargeable bolt ons as of Saturday 30th May except;
* unlimited web
* unlimited wi-fi
* o2 family
The other bolt ons will be available as your free of charge one with your tariff, but you will not be able to add/change on any chargeable ones as your usage changes for your remaining contract term.
.Any customer who has them at the moment will be honoured, you just cant change your account to add a " chargeable discontinued " bolt-on, again as your usage changes for your remaining contract term you will no longer have the flexibility to change your plan to fits your needs !
Grabbed the o2 Tariff & Bolt on T&C : http://www.sendspace.com/file/vlavlq
"Customers on eligible tariffs can choose as many Paid for Bolt Ons as they wish from the available selection"
"Paid for Bolt Ons Terms - (includes iPhone customers)
Paid for Bolt Ons can only be taken with post 1st February 2008 tariffs and O2s Pay Monthly tariffs for iPhone. O2 reserves the right to withdraw or amend these offers at any time on reasonable notice. Participating customers will receive 30 days notice via text message if changes are made to their disadvantage"
Well if you are within your minimum contract term then any change not to be able to buy these bolt-on's anymore is to any applicable customers remaining contract term a "disadvantage" -
Thats a breach of T&C & as per o2 Airtime T&C section 8.4 c - ( http://www.sendspace.com/file/s8x79g
) CANCELLATION applies with 30 days notice to o2, or PAC out in 2 days after asking for your PAC when giving such 30 days notice
