O2's iPhone return policy

Hi! Just wondering if o2's 14day return policy also stretches to the iPhone? Anyone know if it's possible to return it to an o2 store after activating within 14day for a full refund? Just want peace of mind in case I don't like it.

Anyone know if there's a shortage or anything with it being Christmas? Was thinking about getting one today!

If ordering online from o2 they say free next day delivery, will this come before Christmas? Just don't fancy having to go into town as it's so busy! I still might but if I can get it on the website would be a lot easier =D

Thanks =]

haha =] yeah I'm not to keen on them.. but we all have our personal preferences
=P the UI is what's leaning me towards the iPhone! The gps problems and sluggishness of HTC is leading me away from it.. though I'm sure I'd be happy with both! I'm very 50/50 on it and right in the middle, it's making it difficult =[ but now I know I get 14 day returns policy I'll probably end up with the iPhone could alsways return it for an HTC if I'm not satisifed! =D

Hey can you tell me why you'd make that decision? What was wrong with the phone? Did you have the touch diamond?

Yep touch diamond.
Tbh the features were nice but I found the phone to be really boring!
Whereas the iPhone seems quite fun etc!

Get the iPhone.

It is not the features! There are phones with more features and better features!
It is not the spec! There are phones with better specs!

It is how the iPhone does what it does. Apple iPhone has the sweetest interface I have ever used.

I am not an Apple fanboy. I have one Mac, two Dell Desktops, a Tosh laptop, a ThinkPad and another laptop; I write software in C/C++ and C# for Windows and an embedded system.

:xI hate the way Apple limits what goes into the AppStore and that you have to use iTunes for everything; and there is no Copy and Paste!:x

But the iPhone is the only phone for me.

If your not a fanboy you wouldnt need to prove. PLus who does X amount of laptops show your not a fanboy. How does wrtiting programs help you prove ur not a fanboy?

I have to completely agree with this.. just picked up my iPhone few hours ago and can't put it down! Everything just seems to 'work'! I also don't like how Apple lock you down and limit you (although there's obvious ways around that ) seriously it has to be the nicest phone I've used yet! I was looking at the HTC touch diamond and iPhone in the shop and the iPhone just blew me away, its so fun to use as well. The HTC seemed great but it just lacks personality. I'm still not keen on apple as a company, would never use their macs, I prefer Windows, but they made the iPhone fantastic!

No probs.

And the good thing when I did - I didnt get charged at the higher tariff rate for the time I had the £45pm iPhone contract in place. When it reverted, it just removed the fact it even existed. (ie I just carried on paying for the Simplicity tariff.) Not sure if that was a mistake, or deliberate - but its what happened to me personally.

Just following on from this.

Bought an iphone 3gs today pay as you go from o2 store as a present for g/f.

Not sure if she is going to want to keep it, but if I removed the shrink wrapping to show it her, or even turn it on and activate it, will they still accept it as a return under the 14 day rule ?
