I thought I'd share this with people because I've been having problem with O2 wireless broadband.
I got O2 broadband because it worked out very cheap, but their wireless box is rubbish, can't get a decent signal in attic, but my 4 year old CABLE Linksys router (flashed with DD-wrt) works brilliantly and never lets me down. But since its not ADSL I can't use it, so I got a Netgear DG834G to replace it, the netgear is OK, but it doesn't synch to well and has limited configuration options.
So I was sick of this peice of junk and decided to turn the O2 box into a modem only, following these instructions here:http://nothingbutreboots.com/2009/hacking-the-o2-wireless-box-ii
And plugging my Linksys router into it!
I also changed the DNS address, because O2's are just so laggy, now my internet works perfect and it's quite fast!
Plus I no longer need to sell my Linksys router as it rocks! Anyone else having problems with O2 I'd suggest you do the same and change the DNS as well!
