was watching this on sky news, obama was gloating and all confident about this, the clapping going on was ridiculous, he needs to concentrate on other more important issues, he's all talk and will be out next term :D

Now the American army will be flouncing about, "Camouflage was sooooo 2003".

We'll at least have the best dressed allies.

he isnt "all talk"-he is in the unfortunate position that he simply wont get anything important ratified in either house because he simply doesnt have the power to do so-he is a lame duck president-he had some great ideas about making america a FAIR society for all,but that was his downfall because big business does not want ordinary decent people to have affordable health care etc-it interferes with their obscene profitmaking schemes.
Just because he is president doesnt mean he has the power to pass any law.

Such a stero type, homosexuals are already in the forces, nothing will change. It just means they can live normally off duty.

You're right. They probably won't be the best dressed. I personally think you probably shouldn't be wearing leather in Iraq, it's not the right weather. Maybe they'll adapt, create some kind of Burka-chic style.

Which is the opposite of what the tea partiers say.

Healthcare was a pretty big thing, as was repealing DADT. We also had the first civilian trial of a terrorist suspect with more to follow.

I am more than aware, it's still pretty much over compared to what they had there. Other places are where it's at now.

To be honest you should be looking more to what policies our glorious coalition are bringing in to law rather then worry about America.
And well done Obama by the way.
