According to the report:

The 90 nine to 11-year-olds believe that obesity is offensive

What 90 kids? and if they believe it to be offensive, is that not motivation enough not to become obese so that such an offensive word cannot be used against them?

Jesus ****ing Christ!
#4
The term walking blob is going to be used instead
#5
Whats a less offensive alternative? Fatty? Large child? big portion? big boned?

Confused..

OBESITY OBESITY HAAAA TRY AND STOP ME!!!!!!

lol
#8
Fat lot of good this will do!

How can they ban obesity, it's a medical term. I find the word influenza offensive can we ban that too!

Kids need to know if they are obese so they can know how it may affect them and to give them a chance to change their ways.

what next Macdonalds staff being banned from asking the FFs if they want to go large with their meals
#11
Maybe they should protest and go on huger strike... oh, wait a minute. . .

I just hope the replacement term gets used in a derogatory way too and they have to keep changing it.

Maybe every new year they should announce a list of correct words to use that year.
#14
Surely the money all these changes are going to cost would be better used by giving kids with an "unhealthy weight" more things to do to get them active rather than sugar coat what they actually are...obese?
#15
I'll just have to carry a trombone out with me instead then.
#16
good idea i think we can all go back to stating the obvious now...... FAT *******!!!
banned#17
so do we now have to go all PC and call fatties "horizontally challenged"?

Just that fatties should be bullied until forced out of mainstream education.

No message from the mods to explain why it was removed - just faceless deletion. Shame.

Since obesity is banned fat kids should be called Anorexia Survivors
#23
what's better than obesity then......................I know............... young kids that will be dead by thirty

is that less offensive?
#24
or what about type 2 diabetes heffa
banned#25
No one is going to "ban" the word. It's a medical term and it's still going to be used.

This is like those articles that claim "Christmas will be banned" or other such nonsnse. It then causes the mindless proles to get angry and the thread turns into 400 posts of "I can't belive it I am well angrie!!" or "This is a outrage LOL! I am votin BNP becoz of this1"

I wouldn't sugar coat it, they'd probably eat it!
