The coffin did not sell at £100 but has been relisted with no reserve and is up to £56 at present with 14 bidders. Proving there is a market for anything deemed a bargain

We was looking for a couple to use as a coffee table with storage and another for a bookcase, if it had been local I would have bid on it. I now have woodworking plans to build my own, just waiting for weather to get nicer for a week or 2 so I can do the cutting/assembly/staining on the patio.

Relisted due to timewaster

Obviously they didn't pass away so had no need for it.

If you check their feedback, the same person has made a purchase from 4 of their 'used sock' listings. What kind of people are we living amongst?

I think we have just found a niche market.....

...oh sorry, WAS a niche market. Watch Ebay start to become flooded with used underwear now that it is on HUKD!

Now that fly one is class, he did not even bother to give a comedy write up which some people do, hence people bid just because the seller has gone to the extremes of putting the effort in with a quality witty write up.

But that one is just pants with the words "Friendly guy". Yet he has had 2 bids already, think I may try this myself. What with all the free listings I may make some beer money. ;)

Yeah I don't mind the rock thing as it has something behind it and someone has put some effort in.

It scares me to think that there are so many sickos on the loose out there. It really does.

Not sure what's odder, the fact of toast or his "writing" as a food critic and regular One Show contributer, oddball!

Welcome to HUKD, this was the hottest deal on the day in question, I came home from work and checked on the site and had to double take.

As an aside and back more on topic, I chatted to a woman who will remain anon, who used to sell her used shoes (mainly heels) on ebay, she started to get requests from men to wear a pair and they would buy them. Being broke and needing the money she obliged. Sadly what she didn't tell them is she had purchased them from the local charity shop, never wearing them just boxing them and selling them as if she had. So she was selling quite a few and making a few quid for a few months.

She took a short break from selling and then got a request to send a pair of shoes she had worn for a day with a picture of her legs model them, among other similar odd requests. She obliged as she decided it can't hurt, purchased a cheap set of heels, posted them on ebay as an auction and posted that it would come with a picture of her legs modelling them. Surprisingly made well into three digit figures up from the £20 or so the others she had not been wearing had been selling for.

Just made my eyes open that some sad blokes would pay for that kind of thing, she did say she never really wanted to put much thought into what happened when they arrived but oddly it was mostly the middle east where the majority of buyers came from (take from that what you want).
