Odd phonecall

Just had an odd phone call from someone claiming to be from Sky claiming the the 'breakdown cover' had expired on my Sky box and they would take me through the procedure for renewing it.

Very strange as the Indian person on the phone sounded very similar to the person who rang me the day before claiming to be from Microsoft wanting to sell me a new license key. And the fact I independently sourced all my Sky boxes so Sky have nothing to do with them.

Just thought people should know that it sounds like they are trying a variation on the scam.

I'm not the only person to have been called.

Friend of the family was called and they introduced themselves as being from BT internet and then half way through the call started referring to themselves as Microsoft, he hung up at that point.
