Car parking for guests visiting the Alton Towers Theme Park is £6 for all-day parking. To save time, why not try our Express Parking for quicker entry to the Theme Park.

Great minds n all that ;)
Then you can get on quite a few things straight away.
After around 10:40 am the queues will already be about 60-90 mins on most of the big rides and it stays like this for most of the day till about 4:30 pm
Everytime you wait over 2 hours for a ride you will wish you had fast track.
You spend a little more for fast track but instead get to go on the rides you want to with a waiting que less then 15 minutes.
I thought I was being clever and went on the single riders que later and thought it's going to be free, I come back to the que half an hour later to find that they have closed the que due to everyone storming on to it
Also, we bought a drink bottle for £5 which you can refil with any soft drink for free at any stall which sells drinks. This was definitely worth it because a medium drink there is over £2
Overall, you will have a great time- but if you want to queue up together as a group; be prepared to wait a while :D
