There is loads of info about this place on Expedia and other similar sites like BA, Ryan Air and just travel guides in general. Or if you pop in Hen Night Dublin you will get to see the mischief!

Been living iin dublin now for the last 5 years,

If you want to here some irish music for a hour or 2 try upstairs at Oliver St. John Gogherty well worth stopping for a pint, get there early though as you wont be able to move in there after 10am. you will find the pub in temple bar.
Only pub worth going in North of the Liffy is the Arlington Hotel.
Have a great time.

word of warning temple bar is a bit like blackpool, full of stags and hens, if you want to meet a few locals go up around St Stephens Green area / Dawson street.
