Don't worry it's not that bad. It's uncomfortable but not painful. I've had extractions and it's really not as scary as it seems so try to relax if you can. They will do their best to put you at ease, and it doesn't take long either. Good luck!

I had mine done a few years ago and was terrified cause I hate dentists. It was fine and I healed really quick, take regular neurofen and arnica tablets they really helped. I was out at a xmas party 2nights later and surprising the blokes I work with who were going on how horrendous it would be and how long they couldn't eat for.
Good luck you'll be fine x

IT'll be fine, it's better than you imagine it to be. Try to focus on how much better you'll feel once the tooth is out....

ouch! - Best i can recommend if you hate the dentist is go private, and have IV Sedation. You are not put to sleep, but you are totally unaware of what is going on. Expect to pay approx £ 200.00 thou for this service.

aww, hope it went well and your now pain free, I'm terrified of having to have a tooth pulled, so far so good for me but it comes to most eventually.

I had one out a couple of years ago - it's more uncomfortable than painful - just be honest with the dentist and they'll be nice to you. I found it's best not to pretend to be all well ard - if your worred tell them and they'll make time to tell you what to expect.

At least mine did anyway.

edit - lol just read the times - I take it you've been done already? how did you get on?

it really hurts and it will bleed for days, possibly too much and you could die

Im glad it went OK . My poor 14 year old daughter has to have 4 teeth out soon so that she can have a brace fiited and she is terrified. I feel awful as she says she doesn't want it done now and will put up with her wonky teeth.
