hang on cant talk about bnp even if you are voting for them i dont consider them racist and nor do i consider anyone who votes for them a racist plus they know how to sort out the youth of the country http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8663742.stm?ls

should we not allow people talking about the tories because Philippa Stroud is against homosexuals http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/8660214.stm

or nick clegg because he hates cats or gordon brown because he hates old women

im voting labour all the way:viking::viking::viking: because they are the best party and i like gordon brown, i dont want some pompus git running the country like a fairy

NOT voting BNP. However i don't think they can be classed as racist.. we still have freedom of speech in this country !
#3
As they currently stand it's not as Court Ruling made them change their new member policies and Nick Griffin removed their mass deportation policy of all those coloured (Google both, he basically legitimised them), but their massive historical record is extremely racist.

But the above points are right, not every party is innocent, every party that has been allowed to stand in the Election should be allowed up for discussion, not that I blame the OP, it can dominate.

Personally I want a hung Parliament, dozens of developed nations elsewhere are forced to put aside partisan politics and actually work together, they don't seem to be falling into any abyss anytime soon.
#4
Why do you think Labour are the best Churchill? I'm not trying to argue it's just your reasons for voting don't really explain much, surely most people are voting for the party they consider best?

Care to explain how BNP aren't racist Churchill?

I'm going for Lib dems, would never vote Tories and I don't want to vote Labour after what's happened the last decade of them in power. I also agree with many of Lib dems policies like a reform of parliment, scrapping/reducing nuclear weapons etc

Doesn't matter if we have freedom of speech, some of their policies and attitudes towards other cultures/racists are racist.

A man may be free to say 'I hate ******s they're ruining the country' or something, but that doesn't make it not racist because of freedom of speech.
#6
Didnt realise BNP were so popular - ok feel free to chat about BNP

Only reason i said no bnp talk is because what it brings with it hence the above

Im voting conservative = change- because labour = britain now - lib dems = nick clegg
#7
Conservatives will definately bring change alright, but is that change gonna be good? I highly doubt it.

i just like labour i know many dont and think that the last 13 have gone downhill but for me personally i havent had any problems i trust then=m to sort out economy and at least where i am i have seen the massive change in the schools, my nephews go to the same school i did and 13 years ago and the change is unbelieveble and they learn alot more now unlike me when i was there wish id have gone to english class more, lol

millions in this country are struggling but i dont see that labours fault and i think alot of the people of those struggling is their own fault.

i like lib dems but i dont think they have the knowhow to run the country, i do thing a hung parliment might be a good thing also. but i wouldnt trust the tories and david cameron i hate false people and i have not seen anything from the tories that doesnt screem false.

i dont know much about politics and dont pretend to i can only go off my own experience which is ive never had a problem under labour and all the good things ive seen them do are good and all the bad things would have happened with any other party in government

Think my vote is going to the Conservatives :)
All the other parties seem to deny immigration being a problem.

Conservatives
Why?
Gordon Brown tells porkies - has had enough time to do what he claims he will do.
Nick Clegg is smarmy - I can't stand his "Your the boss" speech.
David Cameron makes sense - hopefully he wont let us down if he gets in.

nick clegg is smarmy but you dont think cameron is lol

the most important thing today is that everyone actually goes out and votes-no intention of telling anyone how to vote-thats their choice, but everyone lives within easy reach of a polling station and there is NO excuse for not voting.

I didn't say that - you are guilty of putting words in my mouth, but I do think he is less smarmy than Clegg, but has more brains than Brown.
I think we have to vote for what we agree with rather than traditionally or tactically. The Tories have more policies that fit my worldview, so I'm voting according to conscience.

Smacks of "spin" to me :) I'd accept this if it was coming from a non-biased source. All the parties claim they have done great things, but their achievements are flimsy at best. I have always considered politicians (of all parties) to be professional liars.

Here are some things to help you remember what a tory government was like.

That is a very important word. I know what they were like and voted against them at the time. We can keep going back to history to find things all parties have done wrong, but it is the now and the future I'm concerned about.

I believe what I have written - if that's what you are referring to? I don't actually believe any politician for they all use double-speak to get votes. I have personally seen what Labour has done to neighbourhoods around where I live (which are predominately LibDem or Green). I have personally seen the mess they have made for teachers (my wife being a teacher). I could go on. My vote for the Tories wont change my area in the slightest, but in all good conscience I cannot vote for the others.

tactical vote for me too...

it's deffo labour for me.. but funnily enough, doing the 'test' thingie online to see which party 'agrees' withme the most..tories came out on top!..

All the other parties seem to deny immigration being a problem.

The thing is while a lot of people blame immigration for job losses, you have to understand the conservatives approach. They are good at shutting down businesses in the UK and transferring work overseas. Do you really believe that job prospects will improve if that all starts up again on a grand scale?

I was a bit unsure about some of those poll things though. There was nothing that showed who had created the programs. They may have been biased so that people would get particular answers to influence voting for a party they would write off.
