Liverpool won't get into top 4, so yeah...

If they did (big if) then I'd say Arsenal could slip out, they've been getting progressively worse over the years, all leading up to dropping out of the big 4 for a year.

Chelsea can only get better, with their players and once they finally build good chemistry they'll be league contenders again. Man City will be a force I reckon and Blackpool will win the World Cup.

Liverpool aren't going to make the Top 4...

You signed a goal keeper who let in 7 against Man Utd a few years back.
Henderson is overpriced and overrated.
Gerrard is too old/injury prone.
Carragher is too slow.
Lucas is too blonde (and curly).
Suraez is too goofy.
Carroll is too Geordie.
Kenny is too 1980s.

Henderson.......we will see..
Gerrard.......too old no, injury prone yes..
Carragher.....too slow correct but what a guy....one of Liverpools greatest
Lucas......Brasilian sparkle somewhere waiting to come through, maybe this season?
Suarez....Hmmmm right now in my totally unbiased opinion is the most exciting player in England.
Carroll.....Big geordie lumax, time will tell but me thinks he will put his shift in.
Kenny too 1980's yes definately....just what we need......King Kenny will do for me.....

It is almost a mathematical impossibility for them to get any worse. IMO this whole season has been totally freaky so you have to disregard everything about it, fresh start an' that.

Man U got so many 1-0s and late goals to decide massive games, Arsenal lost games that could have won them the title against rediculously bad competition, Chelsea started out with three 6-0 wins then got worse and then signed one of the best strikers in the world and only got worse, Drogba didn't like the setup.

Gotta be the weirdest premiership year in over a decade, don't think Chelski playing bad this season is much of an indication of how well they'll do next.

Red Devil here.

Desperate for Nasri to join us. Would like Modric and Sneijder to as well but not so worried about Young. Would actually prefer Liverpool to buy him so Nani and Valencia can still have a look in.
#10
^nasri definitely my favourite gooner.

Ok Jordan agreed....but don't you have some building and bonding to do? Seems to me to be more difficult there than other places, Torres can't turn bad overnight we know that and he will come back but why did he play so bad? WHo the **** is in charge of the place?

I agree they shouldn't get much worse but it happens, we have seen our success and so much failure lately but this next season I see things better for us, no not the usual LFC delusional supporter we would have finished in the top 4 with King Kenny and this year we are more likely to be there IMHO than anyone except Utd. Someone is going to give way.....

Chelsea have no leaders?

Clearly you are deluded. Probably a liverpool fan.
They probably won't get in the top 4 (In my opinion) and More likely in my opinion to be

Chelsea
Man U
Arsenal
Man City
Liverpool
Tottenham

Chelsea are going to spend this summer, and will focus on reducing the average age of the squad.

Respect, no matter the rivalry between the two clubs you can stand in the bar after the game and talk football and history ...well we can talk more history at the mo lol. I have so much respect for Fergie, I hate the cant but that is life he is a great great manager, pity he will never win 3 Champions leagues like Sir Bob but a great manager.

With Steve McClaren now the favourite for the Villa job it looks like Champions League football will be making it's way to Villa Park :). Who am I kidding, it will be Championship football if that idiot gets the job

Definately a Liverpool fan, deluded I think not, anyone who writes us off for 4th spot now is crazy. We would have finished in the top 4 with King Kenny and we will strengthen.

You will spend this summer???? You cannot buy the kind of success Liverpool and Utd have had and you have proved that, Torres cough cough.....

This year for us 4th will be success, for you anything but champions and champions league is FAILURE AGAIN.....

Remember Roman wants something he has tried many times and failed so what is different now?????

Not a Chelsea fan in the slightest, so i don;t know where that assumption came from......wait a minute.....probably from the same deluded brain that actually thinks you are shoe ins for the 4th place spot.

Do you have a chance....a small one maybe.

As for Chelsea Leaders, i would like to hear how Lampard, Terry, cech and drogba aren't leaders?

I support a team who won't win the championship let alone the premiership, but we all have our sins i suppose.

But i really do worry about liverpools midfield at the present time.

I mean apart from Gerrard and now Henderson, who else is going to be in there? Anyone decent?

And at the back?
1 Like #22
Aren't Liverpool in the process of trying to buy back their top 4 space? How can you critise Chelsea when you've also spent £50mill on strikers, £20 mill on an average unproven midfielder and will probably spent even more over summer! I'm not even a Chelsea fan but know your talking ****
banned#23
Gotta love Liverpool fans - they never fail to disappoint (except for their parents, but that's a different matter).

Liverpool, currently on a 2 game losing streak, will be competing with the likes of Spurs, Villa (both of whom just beat them), Arsenal and Everton for that 4th spot in all likelihood.

Man United, Man City and Chelsea should all spend big in the summer and the draw of Champions League football will always give them an advantage in going for the big players.
#24
Blues ....

#25
Chelsea will not be out of the top 4 (odds would be massive), only one who look shakey because of Mr Wenger (forgetting you still need to spend), unless Arsenal keep Fabregas and Nasri, they are going to struggle. Still haven't really solved the goalkeeping problem.

This could potentially be the most competitive season yet in the premier league.

Lets see how the transfer window goes, but as it stands I say Arsenal. (Gooner fans can't be happy, I put them in for the league last season until they bottled it.)

Liverpool Fan wading in.....

Under dalglish we where a much better team than under hodgson who was always second best. As someone said suarez is going to be a handful and hopefully get a good partnership with andy carroll. Some decent wide players - Maxi came good at the end of the season but too little too late - getting crosses in. Left back is still yet another dodgy position that needs filling!

Man U will be fairly certain for champions league simples.. as much as it pains me!

Man City, well they do a tottenham? They have a big squad but lets face it, not at times the most together of squads - will the sheik be a roman in disguise?

Chelski, well all the time roman fiddles its never going to win the champions league. He needs to let the manager manage, to win the champions league you need a little bit of patience, lots of luck and support. Look at liverpool in 05, god knows how we won it but those players must of used a lot of luck!

Tottenham - breath of fresh air into the champions league, but they needed a bigger squad, it all got a bit too much in terms of playing big games like milan then back into the league playing wolves..... Heads went elsewhere without the realisation that you need to win those sorta games to get back into the champions league!!

Everton, until they spend some money never..... I know in 05 they done it but since then...

Villa, depends on who they get, maclaren - well no chance, rafa will have a point to prove but wouldnt like the squad that villa might be left with, hughes will do some good if he hangs around long enough!

But as Adam said, it looking like it will be another competitive season, I wasnt complaining, I enjoyed it watching the twists and turns!

Have to agree Adam,If Fabregas & Nasri do go then we are stuffed.

Fabregas didnt look like he wanted to be there for the last few games and wasnt even there @ the last game of the season as he was watching F1..Says a lot to me.

Nasri on the other hand was our best player all season (along with jack) and would be a huge blow to Arsenal and Our fans if he upped sticks,I think bigger then Fabregas.

We need to buy big ,Defenders,Goalkeeper & a decent goal scorer as no doubt RVP will get injured with his biscuit legs. But thats just my opionion :)

Feel sorry for Fabregas as he's obviously been swung just like Torres was, turns up when his mind isn't on the move. I guess it's made Nasri un-easy I personally hope they both stay.

Maybe you would interested in a knock of price on Konchesky, wonder how long it will take him to be with Woy Hodgson again.

Prob not long - you heard it here first lol/

Wenger HAS to deliver this year or he has to go,will be no trophies in 7 years and for a club like Arsenal that's shameful.

He keeps coming out with the same old lines,Next year our talent will come through blah de blah, but it hasn't surfaced really.

He needs to buy Big names,Not some unknown player from abroad.

Liverpool are defo in with a shout of a top four place next season. If you look at the form table since Kenny took over they are near the top of it. It shouldn't be forgotten the mess he inherited from Woy as well, plus his superstar striker turned around and handed in a transfer request (Suarez was signed as a foil for him which must of been extremely frustrating). Don't forget that big players were injured such as Gerrard and Carrol. The number of local youngsters that broke through such as Kelly, Flannigan and Robinson is a real bonus as well.

There will be no distraction of European football which is a huge drain on resources (look at the stats of teams that don't pick up 3 points in a league game following a European game).

There will be a couple more signings this summer as well.
#35
I think next season our away record must improve if we're going to have a chance again, We need a solid keeper, De Gea looks good but deals on ice at the minute and could fall through, Probably cause us to panic buy.

A solid midfielder like Snieder or perhaps Modric, Ashley Young appeals to me but he's hit and miss and fail to see where he'd fit in with the likes of Nani, Valencia, Giggs and Park already clogging up the wing's, I suspect he's got an eye on Giggs retiring, Problem being it may upset Nani if Young was to come since he's already lost his right wing place to Valencia unless Fergie's got different plans for Young as he's quite versatile.

We don't need any strikers, Too many already and wouldn't be surprised if we see a few leave in the summer.

A solid defender would probably be a good idea too, Smalling was great but Rio's injury prone and Vidic's not going to play every game, Evan's is far too sloppy.

I would assume Young will be a direct replacement for Giggs, maybe keeping Giggs for ECL matches. Tbh I think Young will fail big time at Utd. He must have a great promotional team as yet another very average season at Villa has seen him catapulted with a move to Utd. Utd should only be buying world class players now if they are to push on and challenge Barca. Young is not world class, he's struggling to be class in the premiership lately.

Young is definitely no Giggs, he has a Man united feel, but I don't think he is a direct replacement, he's still going to be second pace to Nani (Who is better)

I hate to agree with you, Liverpool looked on the up since Dalglish took over, Especially after Torres departed, The last couple of meaningless games however may of shown some area's where you'll need to improve.

Not sure Henderson would be any good, A rather average player if you ask me, Top 4 spot is quite probable though, Can't see Arsenal improving much, in fact I can see their empire crumbling, If Nasri and Fabregas go I don't think Arsenal would recover from that any time soon.
#40
To be fair regarding Liverpools last few games of season, they didn't exactly play pap, they just didn't want to win. Gerrard said as much on sky when j redknapp was asking about it. Why do they need Europa league?? Adds 15 games to an already packed calander if a decent cup run. Looking at 60 games instead of 45 and possibly a title run in.

I'm sure it was a distraction they could've done without. Hence the big big money spending. Strong run in to season, big quality squad, no david ngog, mark my words, Liverpool will be there or there abouts.
