tescos have zovirax on sale at the moment - its the only thing that will actually stop the cold sore come out
think its down to £4 25 - bought some for my mum yeterday - she had the 'tingle' - gone now after 2 treatments with zovirax - it is brilliant

In the medical buisness and we recommend anything for that area containing active ingredients Acyclovir-only these products are effective in treatment.

use zovirax... It's about £6 for the tiniest bottle in the world but works a treat :thumbsup:

perfume or afer shave spray on your finger and dab it, it will sting like mad but it works if you catch it as soon as you feel the tingle do it again tonight :thumbsup:

Yes Ive heard this but my daughter used to get them all the time but was advised to try something called Lycine tablets (Holland and Barrett) and has never had one since.

i get them regularly and have most of my life....they are a real pain...i dont want to leave the house etc....
a medical person told me its a virus and once you have it, its with you for life. Both my kids seem to suffer as well but not as bad as me thank goodness.
The good news is i dont seem to get as many as i did when i was younger so maybe by the time i.m 70....they will have stopped. LOL

Boots Lip and cold sore Lotion...its in a glass tube its about £2ish and drys them out really quickly as Its a liquid not a cream
