yes go ahead and eat them, kids shouldn't have a lot - if any - sweets. there is a big problem with obesity in this country and at the age of 5 its def the parents responsibility. Eat away!!!!!!

I still can't forgive my mum for nicking the jelly tots out of my Easter egg when i was 5 (I am now 38)!! I didn't want the lousy egg...I wanted the tots!

I laughed when I read this posting. On Friday, I took my young son out for a walk in town. He normally runs off and explores all sorts of dangerous places and picks up dirt/grubby things from the ground to eat (yuck!). Anyway, I had a packet of mini marshmallows in my pocket and whenever he tried to run off, I would fish out a mallow and entice him to walk with me while trying to catch the mallow from my fingers.

It was quite funny to see him trying to keep pace (don't worry I did walk slow) and catch the mallow. I had a few myself so it's not bad if you share your child's sweets!

Lol, you will regret it - dad still gets 'you ate my ruffle bars' from my family - and that was over 15 years ago! He says he only did it once, I am told he did it all of the time!
