Used prices approx:

£150-200 for a 2g 8GB
£200-250 for a 3G 8GB
£280-£330 for a 3G 16GB

Or new direct from apple....

get a google g1, half the price, no firmware problems, same apps through the market, 1000's of which are free.

no such thing as a 1g there is

2g(original)
3g(last model)
3gs(out on friday)

main difference is no 3g internet,so data use is slower on the 2g,the 2g has the silver metal back, the 3g is black or white

nope, deffo for useability as well. The keyboard is easy and the cupcake upgrade also gives you a touch screen. Excellent internet capabilities plus you can download additional apps that improve your phone i.e. battery life, better camera options etc.

they've biggish....but nothing to put you off. Touch screen is very good. I'd still recommend the keyboard rather than the touchscreen keyboard but the touch screen is fine for everything else. Very easy to use as well.

got a bid in on one now!!! ill take a punt on it, i can always sell it on if i dont like it, what about the voda version, the magic? is that any good?
#15
the g1 looks like it is the flip up one and magic is just fixed screen version, looking forward to getting one of these little beuties now, i had never even considered one before, are they quick to respond then? my n96 is so slow its unreal

the other day the iuphone got a new firmware update, not to make it better but to stop peoples iphones from freezing, the g1 got a firmware update to, that was to add video recording to the phone.

the magic i have no idea, just try google comparing i am sure it will come up

No, only the 3G S has video recording.
