Rubik's Twist... http://www.rubiks.com/Shop/Products/Rubiks%20Twist%20Limited%20Puzzle.aspx

A Rubik's Snake (also Rubik's Twist, Rubik's Transformable Snake, Rubik’s Snake Puzzle) is a toy with twenty-four wedges shaped like right isosceles triangular prisms. The wedges are connected such that they can be twisted, but not separated. Through this twisting, the Rubik's Snake can attain positions including a straight line, a ball (technically a nonuniform concave rhombicuboctahedron), a dog, a duck, a rectangle, a snake and many more imaginative shapes and figures.

I still have the Rubiks snake, saved from my childhood in the loft!....I can still remember how to do the ball, the so called hardest shape to do with it, still remember the twists and turns now, funny how your mind remembers certain useless stuff!.

Official one I have is dark brown and cream.

Did you ever know anyone who could do a rubix cube in about 60 seconds? My uncles ex girlfried back in the 80's used to mesmerise us by doing it in no time no matter how much you mixed it up

LOL what's your uncles name, may be my ex boyfriend:oops:

I just found one of our old rubik cubes just last week, didn't think I would be able to do it after all these years, but it was solved with no problem. Usually in around 2 minutes but occasionally under 1 minute. My son got some of those speed stacks for Christmas and there was a really good timer with it, so I have been able to accurately time us doing it. My 2 year old is really intrigued by it and played with it quite a bit today, great stuff - probably the only toy she has played with that doesn't need batteries
