Is it all down to fear?

Lets not be afraid to sling mud. Weat Ham have always known they are second fiddle to Spurs. (We've always heard the inferiority complex regarding hating Spurs more than Ars*nal.) Thats actually hilarious and highlights insecurity)

There isnt a West Ham fan alive who wants to see their team with an Athletics track betweeen.... so why not just admit the real reason you want the stadium is because you know the bigger club will take over Essex and extend the fact they are the biggest club in London? Come on admit it. Ars*nal fans know its the case too.

Spurs wont get the ground (ie logic doesn't come into it.) .... But it sure as hell funny with the desperation at stopping Spurs taking over the manor. Brady, you're a slapper. Always will be.

No decision till at least March and Leyton Orient waiting in the wings with legal action will mean no-one will get it probably.

Sy.... They have the biggest claim... respect. (Apart from the fact they've already said no.)

its insane to build it at taxpayers expense and then demolish it to build another structure-spurs shouldnt be allowed to do that-no harm to them-but thats just not on.

Yes,I get the argument about a running track leaving the fans too far away from the action, but the stadium should belong to the community-wheres the legacy otherwise? Do spurs fans even WANT to move that far away?

They do.........and i think Hearn is right that it will kill their crowds. Personally i'd like to see it stay as a dedicated Athletics venue as Crystal Palce in ancient now.

Hehe.., Thats the jojjie... get emotive... I agree......

Lets build stadiums that are pointless?

Football and Athletics don't mix. Its a simple fact. Only Money Mad Karen Brady would argue otherwise.

Spurs want the site. Its a fantastic location with probably the best rail links in the country. With a pucker stadium its the nutz. Brady thinks West Ham Fans want to be at least 75 metres from the touch line. Yeh as if. There isnt a West Ham fan alive that wants that.

The reality is this. If Spurs win the bid WHU are finished. They know full well it nothing to do with clubs... its all about loosing Essex. By all means say you want to stand 100 yards from the pitch. Id love it if you do TBH.

Druggies PO.

I don't think Spurs want to move away from the area. Who would? Its madness to want that... However, Spurs need a bigger ground.. Thats clear. The patch should be clear on the site and land near, where plans have been submitted. The council have turned it down.... so **** 'em. They should be pleased, but being total dickheads theyve said no. So fine.. move to a location NEARBY which has the best rail links in the country and potentially expand bigger than ever.

I guess you miss the reasons that's a good reason to do so?

EDIT: I just had to say........ West Ham dont want this stadium...... certainly not with an athletics track They just know Essex will be ours... as well as current pull areas, Its actually hilarious.

Brady, you're a slapper. Always will be.

the question is though, would you "smash it?"

as for the ground i think leyton orient could scupper potential outcome unless they get a big fat pay off

CS.. If that had been the initial reply, Id respect it. It wasn't.

I expect the spurs bid to fail..... but it will be for the wrong reasons... and further down the line, I expect WHU fans to regret it. (serious)

:p who cares...give it to manu...cos all their fans live down south

Absolutely sums up the powers that be planning skills in this country down to a tee.

Lets build a stadium and then when it's nearly finished we'll decide what we are going to do with it after.

Why didn't they make the decision before it was designed so that everyone knew it's fate once it had been used for the olympics.

It wil be a total disgrace if this gets pulled down and built again.

find it hard to argue. They had zero idea what they wanted to do. It sounds fantastic to have this stadium continue as it was built. But lets be real.... its a crap idea.

I would tend to agree with you but Wembly used to have a dog track round it which put the fans further from the pitch and that was popular enough, so I guess it would depend on how wide the athletics track is....

Not bothered that much if some is demolished as long as the stadium has a long term future and is used for something useful like a football stadium

Yeah I hope Spurs get it, can't wait until they move away, it's so embarrassing having a team that poor as our local 'rivals'.
#15
If west ham are keeping the running track they should get it

Do not see the logic of Tottenham saying it is unsuitable while a club is willing to take it on.

Personally the best thing would have been to have incorporarted removable seating over the track but obviously the plan from the start was flawed

We ARE bigger that Tottenham just they have had more success in recent years & you girls know it (_;)

i still dont belive tottenham really even want the ground, more giving the council or whoever a push to get what we need doing to make our own stadium work. on another note i can see the ground from my window so i wouldnt mind us getting it LOL seriously do what makes me laugh the most is all these '' i wont ever watch spurs again rubbish '' course you will and if not you plenty of others waiting to take your place and levy no's it, id rather stay in tottenham and do whats needed but sometimes its never that simple ie the scum moving to OUR AREA..

I didn't even watch extra time. I was so ( how can i word this without getting banned ) - vexed with the second half performance i switched the tv off & didn't know the result until this morning, although in my heart i knew there would be only one winner.

Don't worry. We'll still come to your ground and beat you. I'm guessing Leyton Orient would become your sibbling rivals. Sounds about right.

All joking aside, many of your fans actually believe that!

When they first spoke about it, I was convinced it was to put pressure on the council to give permission. I know they've said the've already given it, but they've added £50M worth of extras FOR THEM. They should appreciate its a privilege and honour to have the Club in the area. Lets be fair, the place is an absolute carsey! I expect that after looking at the logistics, the realisation is that its transportation make it the ideal place. It will certainly be much easier for pretty much all fans to get to than WHL.

Its funny. West Ham fans were polled before and 80% didnt want the stadium. Since Spurs have said they do, 70% now want it. Tells its own story really. "we dont want it - but if it stops Spurs, we do".

Brady is still a slapper BTW.X)
