They were utterly brilliant, and especially as wee had seats right at the very front.

The light show was amazing and the interaction with the crowd was the best I have ever seen.

Chris Martin is a legend, and all the guys performed brilliantly.

Excellent show, and if you get the chance, GO SEE THEM.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, but surprised to hear Chris Martin was able to interact with the crowd. When we saw them he was a bumbling fool - kept apologising for saying the wrong things and/or forgetting his thread. Mind you it was in the JJB stadium and they looked a little intimidated by a rougher than usual crowd - I'm guessing there aren't that many Coldplay concerts where a big scrap breaks out in front of the stage over people throwing plastic glasses full of pee - lovely it was :)

We went to see them on saturday night at Sheffield- first UK date of the tour - and yes they were brilliant

But I would have preferred them to have been on stage for a little longer

Yes, it was raining before the concert began, but it was fine once we got in there after eating our sandwiches in the car first  Was it really that long ago though?! - felt more like 2006. Sounds like you were there too - what were your thoughts of the gig, and did you see the scraps at the front?

They had a little stage set up at the rear in the first tier at Sheffield, did one song and a bit of Take That!

Support was called E F Jnr - not to my liking and then there was a DJ slot for about 30 mins which was OK but just wanted Coldplay to get on

Haha never saw the scraps at the front, can remember getting soaked walking from the car and my partner forgetting his wallet so having to get a pass out to go and fetch it and getting even more soaked!! I can also remember it taking forever to get away from the stadium. Good concert, I got Coldplay overkill that year - saw them in Dublin, Bolton, Madrid and Manchester!!

I remember the year well as my Dad pasted away just before the Dublin concert and the song 'fix you' still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it

They came on at 9pm and went off at 10.15pm. I thought that was pretty good.

Dunno, but there was a DJ on his own. Got murdered by most of the crowd, but I kinda liked him, but no idea of his name.
