Yep its been very understated this time. Maybe because they are going to flood our channels with trailers over Christmas to say goodbye to David Tennant?
#2
Fab I had forgotten about that, iv not even seen a trailer
#3
Ive seen trailers for 'Water of Mars' or something - I presume thats what you're on about? Seen it discussed on a few daytime shows as the scariest ever.
#4
I was amazed on Friday night when the trailer came on and it said it was on Sunday, had heard nothing until then of the actual date

I only got back into Dr Who when my son started watching it few years back and I just love it. But I am gutted David Tennant is leaving - and will be hard to take on the new doctor - he is so young and baby faced!

Even my 12yr old daughter thinks the new doctor is too young to be fanciable! :?

I think he'll be fine, have seen him acting before. he's good!

Children have much higher "scare" thresholds now too.

Though my friends lil girl came round the other day and soon as my 4 yr old realised she was terrified by the giant shark he plays with in the bath he took great delight in running round the house chasing her with it........... ;-)

Only heard about it on the radio.

Only found out that Top Gear is on on sunday as well because I happened to catch the start of a trailer on something on my Sky+ box.

A couple of years back I was driving through Paisley to go see my friend and we were stopped due to a funeral procession - was a huge one. We started thinking that maybe someone famous had died as the police were there also - but then we seen David Tennant come out of the first car - was his mothers funeral

Made me feel very uncomfortable that fans had turned up at his mothers funeral for a glimpse of him.

If its to pay their respects then fair enough.

If its to voyeuristically glimpse their hero in distress..... thats sad.

But either way its the price you pay for fame and fortune.

When he got out the car they were all shouting his name - am mortified thinking about it even now. We kept willing the policeman to move us on as just felt so embarrassed.

The poor guy was distraught but at same time raised a hand to acknowledge the 'fans'.
