Take the battery and sim out and leave to dry until there is no more sign of water, you may be lucky, but you must take the battery out NOW

i took everything out as soon as i got it out of the machine, so im going to have to sit tight for the next few days, ohhhhhhhhhhh

No more dirty phone calls for you......

boom tish - I'm here all week

Well that's one way to get a clean signal.

I once dropped my phone in Lancaster canal whilst staggering home after a night out. By some miracle I retrieved it before it sank into the murky depths, but foolishly I rang my friend to tell him what had happened and the phone died 5 minutes later.

i got a new contract with vodaphone and got a unlocked blue j600 with it, gave phone to partner, and put sim in the e900 which i used to use for tmobile payg sim, which then went into my lg chocolate. so now i'll just have to use my contract on lg chocolate.

since ive got on this site im becoming obsessed with phones!!

Main thing is not to turn it on until it's totally dry otherwise it will short circuit.

it will dry out, just be patient for a while....like 2 weeks

Mine was only in the wash for a few minutes and died & I'd only had it two weeks on a new 12 month contract, d'ohhhh!

i would also recommend taking the phone apart (if its a normal 'bar' type one), but since the e900 is a samsung slider i would leave it as they are hard to take apart (from personal experience)

i dropped a motorola v300 down the loo about 4 years ago, before using it thankfully) had only had it a week, took it apart and stuck it in the airing cupboard, after about a week it work, played up a bit now and then, was never the same but it worked!!

Yeah, good chance it might dry out.

My brother's USB drive has been through the wash and tumble-dried at least twice.
