1st the calling centre is in India, the quality of the call is poor.
2nd to cancel you have to call up, with Tesco etc you can do it online.
3rd they said if they do not receive the DVD's within 14 days (free period)I will be charged full price of £14.99 for 1 months rental.

1. Well, they are having a few problems over there at the moment.
2. Wrong, you can do it online.
3. Well yeah, why would they not charge you if you keep the films after your trial is over?

Too right, if you are late sending them back you get charged, I don't see the issue.

It's never let me cancel online - you go through the whole process then it says to ring them. I won't use them again - and now they're spamming me with discounts and freebies.

I thought this but then someone on here told me you can do it after a certain time on a night and it worked. No hard sell on the phone.

As Perry says, do it at certain times, after 10pm for example.

Did excatly the same to me a few years ago . i cancelled in January 2007 and they billed me in February 2008 saying they did not get the Dvd's back in time .I called them and asked them why it had taken them over a year to realise they had been late returning and they had no right to charge me account that long after which my bank agreed with in the end they refunded my payment but i will never use them again.

RE point 3, just get proof of postage, it's free and they will accept that if they go missing in the post.

always get proof of postage when returning the last discs in separate envelopes then you are insured by royal mail, cancel online after closing hours of the call center and Tesco is run by Lovefilm

I assume you are referring to the floods at the moment?

The floods in Pakistan.

How does that affect a call centre in Bangalore?
