Am I right in thinking that an online roulette table (computerised) SHOULD be exactly the same odds as a live table? I.e. it cannot be inlfuenced by what amount or where any bet is placed?

yes, SHOULD be. but i dont think thats the case. its the same kind of system they use when they fit the roulette machines into a bookies. Its just a screen you are looking at, dont forget that.. its all based on win% just like fruit machines.

Well, this is the thing, I kinda always thought roulette would be different, as surely noone would play otherwise. Ive spend a small amount of money tonight on the Ladbrokes roulette and believe me, they know exactly when to pay out and when not to. Using a simple Black and Red betting patten, after winning just over double my money, they went from a seemingly random set of results to such ones as

Red, Red, Red, Red, Red, Black, Red, Red etc etc. Ohh i'll never learn....

Ive lost a small fortune doing it that way on betfair.

I've played the ones on telly a couple of times and they are good, as its bloody real.

Put it this way, in the bookies or online, if you were to cover the whole board and leave just one number, you know where that ball is landing.

Wondering if yours is similar to mine. I was covering just '0', with a quid each time until 3 results in a row were say Red. Then I would lay heavy on the black and increase big if it still didnt come in. Eventually it enivitably does. This pattern probably even has a name. As I say, this got me over double until they cottoned on. I know nothing is guarenteed, but think this would be good to try on a live table.

Its great on a live table, made a bit twice with hardly any stake.

I made a fair bob or two on Live table's, Once on TV I recall it went Black, Black, Black about 10 times on trot, What are the odds lol.

As for software base Roulette of coarse it's fixed, If you double your money once then quit..!!! Go somewhere else.

the beauty is that every spin is new so always has a 50/50 chance of red or black

Red, red, red, red, red is equally as likely as red, black, red, black, red

so 10 blacks in a row has the same odds as being red, black all night
