I do all my grocieries online with Sainsbury's. They are VERY good. Always on time (if they aren't then you get £10 voucher free). They even help me to take all the shopping upstairs. And the website is easy to spot bargains. Free delivery on orders over £70 on certains days too. You can specify the precise hour you want them to arrive.

I used to 'do' online food shopping all of the time from Tesco. Never had any problems in over three years of using that service.
I now go to Tesco because of their R&R policy. :-D

I have shopped online with Tesco and Asda
Tesco are good you don't always get the full shopping list but the produce is always nice and fresh
Asda on the other hand are terrible for short dates on fresh produce I once had a delivery at 7pm and the veggie stir fry I ordered was a best b4 the date I had it delivered on !!! They have good deals at Asda But I would never order fresh produce because in my experience you get the stuff they are about to reduce :|

with sainsbury's online I've always received fresh produce much fresher than I'd normally get in "offline" Sainsburys. ALWAYS (that's close to 25 times now).

I always shop in store and I usually try to go at the time they reduce things. E.g. my local Tescos tends to do the second reduction at about 9.30 and the first around 7-7.30. First reduction is good if you want bakery goods, second is if you want ridiculously cheap stuff that can be frozen.

My freezer is regularly filled with stuff covered in yellow stickers :)
