Got about 95% done already (including paper/tag/cards/gifts/wine/whiskey)

Pays to plan ahead; means you can enjoy Christmas and the lead up to Christmas.

I may to get a couple more 3 for £10 wines when some decent ones go on offer.

I have a present list and a card list. Very organised in our house :)

I started my Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve, Boots 50%, Marks & Spencer and House of Frasier. I am about half way through, but always leave some for Nov/Dec in case my son wants something thats 'new' and 'must have'.

Other than that I am usually done and wrapped by the end of September

I usually try and finish my shopping by the end of Nov and there's always Mum I really want a..... which wasn't on the christmas list at the last minute in Dec. Always pushes me way over budget. This year I'm going to remember to account for that

Thats my Mother in Law, I start asking around August time and she still can't decide and usually tells me 1 or 2 days before Christmas.

So annoying, so last year I told her if she didn't tell me by the end of Nov she wasn't getting anything. You should have seen her face at Christmas when she realised I meant it :w00t:

This has been going on for 12 years now, so I put my foot down, she won't do that again :p

Hahaha she'll be telling you next month what she wants. On the plus side she must already know, it'll be what she thought of and didn't get this time
