Dodged a bullet there!

You got Robson who is a fine player which most celtic fans wanted to stay until at least the end of season. He'll fire you guys back to the premiership!

Even Thierry Henry was a fan of Barry Robson!!

He seems like a good player, i'm not really a fan of scottish football but i heard of Barry Robson before so that must be a good sign. Chris Killen i have never heard of and I have never rated Willo Flood, since Man City. But i am hoping to be surprised..

In regards with Killen he was on loan to us (Norwich) last year and is awful. We had him on loan till the end of the season but after two games we sent him back. The worst striker i seen at Carrow Road for years. And we have seen loads.

Former Hibs and Alpine Juice Delivery star Gary Caldwell leaves Scottish football after a glorious spell with Glasgow Oirish. We look back at the collossos known affectionately to fans of all teams simply as 'that (unt Caldwell'.

Gary's early career is the stuff of legend. He was mainstay of Newcastle United's 2002 16th placed finish in the Central Reserve League. Indeed, many at St. James Park still speak of his time there warmly, noting that Gary could carry a hitherto-undreamed of six lucuzode sport bottles to his team-mates when they were playing. But Caldwell knew that he was unlikely to force his way into the Utd first-team, and no wonder; few could have broken up the partnership they had at the time of some foriegn bloke and, eh....we'll say Steve Howey. Being a competitor, Gary decided it was time to head home to Hibs.

in a team full of talented youngsters, Gary stood out because he was different. The Hibs team at the time had youngsters who modelled the latest hairstyles; Gary didn't need a haircut for people to notice his heed. Indeed, such was the impression Gary made on the Easter Road faithful immediately after his move, they christened him 'that ******** wi the huge napper'. Tony Mowbray's team was one of contrasts; filled with young, dynamic talent and Gary, they soon had everyone in Scottish football talking about them as they surged to fifth. Gary became one of the hottest properties at Easter Road - behind Thomson, Whittaker, O'Connor, Riordan, Brown, Franck Sauzee, Joe Tortolano, Willie Miller, Steve Cowan and the guy who sells the programmes at the tap of the walk - and was soon rewarded with his dream move; Parkhead.

The fans immediately recognised in Gary a football player with the requiste qualities to play for Sellik. Gary was fortunate in that he benefitted from being signed by Gordon Strachan, the clubs most successful manager since Big Jock. New signings often take time to settle in, but Gary was to go straight into the team at the standard he'd stay at until he left.

Sure, there were bad times - the endless red cards, own goals, fights with fans, rapings from Kenny Miller, own goals, fights with fans, European humiliations and a tense situation with a love-lorn Polish colleague - but through it all, gary kept smiling, playing and talking endlessly with his pals in his press. Totally unrelated to that, he won the Scottish Football Writers POTY award.

Scottish football will miss the man the fans call 'haw you! ya big-heeded (unt!'. Luckily, we can follow his adventures on Match of the day, and then next season on the Football League show. Goodbye Gary - we will miss you.

Glad to see the back of Caldwell

Shame to see Robson go though....

I predict Barry Robson will be a firm favorite at Boro.

I hear people down south are praising Charlie Adams for Blackpool.... put it this way, Robson is at least twice the player he is if not thrice!!

I for one am gutted that Gary "Herman Munster" Caldwell has left the great Glasgow Oirish.

As a die hard bluenose, he has already given us 4 points this season!

Gary Caldwell's transfer to Wigan looked in doubt due to the weather................until 40,000 Celtic fans turned up at Glasgow Airport to help clear the Runway

Am I right in thinking barry Robson can play anywhere in midfeild and left back? :)
#27
Robson is a good player, Flood was decent until Strachan signed him for the bench. Killen, not so good, and Caldwell is just dire. £24k a week? You're having a laugh!!

Thats right yeah.

Not so good at left back but decent enough as a backup/emergency LB

no really is him, its one of the reasons he's been kicked out of parkhead. mowbray didn't like the gay inference from one of his tweets.
