Anyone else had this problem with a new 360S?

Looks like i'll have to send it away to be repaired, do microsoft tell you to take the hdd out before you send?

I had this problem a while back. Put a disk cleaner in and that may fix it. Had to do it a few times as the error kept coming back. Works fine now!

Was that on a new 360s?

I've been talking to Microsoft support on twitter and he suggested playing on the console with the hdd out oO

Had this also, 1. hold down the eject key on the console ( hold it down for about 10 secs or so ),2. is the console upright? if so try tipping it on the side and see if that works.
3. Give it very gentle slap on the side.
Hope this helps ;)

Yeah the console is upright, I eventually got it going after turning it off and on a few times but I'm worried that it's an issue that is only going to get worse, it has happened once before

Ive had the console a few years. Remember seeing a post on here before it happened to me.
Have a look at this link. Worth trying the disk cleaner. Good luck. Let us know if it works.

That's it, can't be arsed with disc cleaners etc, it's getting sent back to microsoft, it's done it again this morning, only way to get it to work is to open tray, disconnect power lead and then reconnect with tray open...not happy :(
