Operation Bath - how do you deploy yours?

Odd discussion with wife last night.

How do you draw your bath :).

I like to fill it up slightly - to a warm temperature..

Then i get in and swish the hot water behind me, getting the entire bath to an even heat.

Plus as i'm in the bath as it's filling, i adjust to the heat more quickly and can have a very warm bath. Without the "Sting" you normally get from getting into an already drawn bath, then having to stop top it up with warm because you've gotten used to it.

I'd say the same, tactic is very useful to get the right temperature. Not used the bath here yet, was it olive green sweet when you lived here.

Felt the need to share this information with you magic - as i reckon you bath technique could use a little work.

I just ring the bell and the valet takes care of it.

Make it crazy hot before i get in, but even everywhere, then gingerly get in, read for a while, top up with hot water as necessary.

Don't often have them though

Yes it was!

Not the best bath i found - gave me horrific neck ache when i woke up in it at 7am, with the shower on.. Very hungover and a wife glaring at me in disgust.

Shower pressures awful atm, trying to improve the pressure from the boiler but not sure how to go about it.

Well at least I know the people who built this house actually choice that suite, were they blind??

Did I mention the kitchen was ripped out by the last tennats, who were polish. No reason just did it.

Really? So the landlord didn't fix the place up a bit.. The previous tennats did lol..

Kitchen wasn't that great when i lived there - rental prices were allot higher than before the recession hit. Can't believe ya paying so little for it..

Then again our current house is verrry nice.. 3 bedroom, large house.. All chrome fixtures and fittings - posh kitchen with inbuilt everything.. And it's only £550 a month

Mmmm, baths. I have mine hot. I mean hot, hot super hot lava hot. Sometimes the kids will get in after me, we have to half empty it and refill with cold just so it's a suitable temperature. If I'm not a lobster shade of red when I get out and ready to faint, it wasn't hot enough. I always read in the bath too, it's the only place I get enough peace and quiet.

Epic thread status.

I usually fill the bathtub full of melted chocolate with M&M's and Maltesers thrown in the mix, then jump into it from 10ft high.

It's when I still feel faint half an hour later that I think there really is something wrong with having it that hot!

I thought it was reasonable at 475 for the size of the front room.

Yeh he put a new kitchen in.

Got me in the mood to buy my own place, If I had this place I would so build a proper garage at the end of the garden, and fence it correctly.

Yeah that shed is crap

Dunno mate - i paid £495 i think it was for it.. And remember it wasn't all done out like you have it now..

Where now i've got a 3 bedroom house, 3 bedrooms - all of which are bigger than the main bedroom in that house.. Very large kitchen with dining area.. Large living room.. Office.. Bathroom upstairs with bath and shower, bathroom downstairs with standing power shower... Off road private gated parking, double garage / shed at back.. All for £550 a month.

Landland is fantastic to :).. He's an absolute godsend for any repairs, comes round asap.

Our hot water isnt very hot (new laws on the new boilers i think that cap the temp) So i just add hot water then get it and top it up when needed, I love the sting you get when its really hot :)

obviously, you get someone else to fill the bath, and get in, then 5 minutes later you join them, and the water will be the right temperature and you have someone to wash your back

scolding hot, push her in:thumbsup:
