opinion please - buying a monitor for PC (HP S2031A any good?)

hi - I need to replace my PC monitor. I spoke to a chap at one of the Tottenham Court Rd shops who had a HP S2031A that he's selling for £99.

does anyone have an opinion on this particular model? I will not be using this for gaming, just surfing the web, emails, my music/documents, etc. and think that 18.5 to 20 inch would suffice

100quid (don't want to spend any more) seems cheaper than most of the major retailers, I just wondered if anyone had comments or advice

cheers

£97.44 delivered from saverstore.com - buying in person might give you the option of checking for dead pixels before you buy. You could even try getting the shop to price match.

As long as it's not for gaming or watching movies then it should suffice. You can get smaller screens with a better performance for less money but they generally only have a vga input.

Great - thank you. I figured it was a pretty basic monitor, I just didn't want to have any regrets. It seems OK for what I need it for

no offence but that monitor will be not worthwhile for gaming, contrast ratio and refresh rate is very poor, it would only be good for internet/ some multimedia
