Am looking for my daughter whose little boy will be just 15months when the baby is born(a girlie at last!!) Anyway i have looked online at the new Baby jogger mini twin and the nipper 360. Can anyone suggest any other or give me an opinion on these please? She has a sore back so cant push a tandem and found a maclaren twin hard to steer because of it so thats important. She will also use the bus! oh and cant afford £500..looking around £250-300 tops-doesnt mind if not new either!
Thanks in advance !!!

Haven't seen the Baby Jogger one but I would say a Nipper 360 or a Phil & Teds E3 Twin (the side by side one). They are both so much easier to push than the likes of a Maclaren because of the bigger wheels and suspension.

The best twin pram I have had is a Mountain Buggy but it's wide aswell as long so doubt it would get on a bus (was never brave enough to try it!)

Has she considered a Jane Powertwin? Even though it's a tandem it's easy to push (again because of the wheels) and ideal for buses etc.

Best advice I could give is do't go for one with two handles - the ones with a bar are so much better and you can push them one-handed!

Edited to add: I found the Combi We2 really good aswell - that's what I've got at the moment to keep in the car because it folds in half and in half again so is quite compact.

We've picked up all our pushchairs at car boots/charity shops etc. Generally for no more than a tenner each.

We've got a double (side by side) but it can be a little difficult, it's very wide and buses don't like it coming on. It's still big when it's folded up, takes up nearly the whole boot!

I'd have a look to see if you can get one where they sit one behind the other, I haven't used one personally but I think they are easier to use and fold up smaller. I'm not sure that they are suitable for a long time so you may need a different one after a while, but if they're only a tenner from a car boot it doesn't matter.
