I ordered something from Asos that was faulty, told them and they reissued it and asked me to return the other once arrived. I did it, but used the second returns slip. They refunded me for the 2nd item which I did not realise until today, after receiving an email telling me that I had not returned the faulty item. I have told them that I had returned it.

Cut a long story short they are now saying that they want to recharge me for the original item as they had refunded it when they should not have done. At first I was like ok, but they asked me to send my card details so they could charge me. I said no, I would not supply my card details as I am not mental, anyone could go on a spending spree with my card details.

I have asked them to send a paypal request for funds as I originally paid via paypal, and they refunded me via paypal. They are now dragging their heels saying they have to have a word with management about how to recover the funds etc etc, blah, blah!

I am quite willing to pay them as I have had the item, but would like some opinions on the subject from all you knowledgable folks out there! Would you pay them back?

If you feel safer doing it via paypal then stick to your guns. Make sure every communication is in writing/email though and don't lose your temper.

Too late I think lol!!

The item was a gift for somebody, who actually is not keen on it so am going to return anyway, have told them this. They have said that I have to email proof of postage or they will continue to charge me?!?!? HOW?? They have no card details, nor a magical way to access any of my funds!! I told them that I shall send Proof of postage but that she need to get a grip if she thinks they can 'continue to charge me' damn fools lmao!
