Orange 241 deal @ Cineworld

Cineworld in conjunction with Orange offer customers the 'Orange 241 deal'. Orange customers need to text the word 'FILM' to '241' on their mobile phone. Orange will send them a code via text message. When purchasing a ticket at box office, the customer will need to show the staff member their phone and text message to receive their free ticket.

NB. Customers need to produce their mobile phone to participate. Customer cannot book via the Cineworld Advance Booking Service for this offer.

All cinemas participate with the exception of Cineworld Dublin and Jersey

this loophole can be used by anyone, not just Orange customers. For a one-off expenditure of £1 or even 50 pence for a prepaid orange sim, you can access the deal, saving you (and a friend) the cost of a cinema ticket each time.

if you vote cold please have the courtesy to tell why? thanks.

I've heard about this deal somewhere before, apparently it's only on Wednesdays...
#3
This deal has been around for ages and is available at most cinemas, its called ornage wednesdays, think you can get cheap pizza from it too from pizza express.

If the link worked it might help people not to vote cold. Also, this doesn't sound like Orange Wednesday, which is where you can get your friend in for free. The Submitter makes it sound like you both get in for free. I'd like to know if this is true?

Exactly.

No offense kratos80, but this deal has been available for at least two years. It's nothing new so - COLD from me.

I might use this deal to see one of the latest blockbusters like E.T, Back 2 the future or Raiders of the lost Ark.

Anyone know when the new Elvis or Hendrix stereograms are out?

Must dash... gonna find out who killed J.R

Why vote cold though? Yeah it might be old, but its still a good deal. Not voted either way.

The deal is old but the point i think the poster is trying to make is that you can just buy a sim for 50p and save price of a ticket. Not saying that noone knew this but maybe not everyone realised and thought they had to be on contract with orange to benefit.

Well, I haven't worked in a cinema for four years, the deal was around for at least two years while I was there, so yeah... six years old?

I know the OP didn't mention Wednesday's, but this is just Orange Wednesday. Try it on any other day and be prepared to be laughed at by box office staff. Either once you've gone away, or possibly in your face depending on the member of staff's mood.

Voted hot
- This is a good deal for anyone else that has been living in a cave.....or is relatively new to "deals" websites.
- Tip on getting a cheap SIM is also notable.

This deal may be old but it certainly isn't cold. As usual a load of people pressing the cold button just because they are miserable lonely people. If it isn't already posted then why stop people from posting them.

To tie this to cineworld, you can use the 2for1 offer with the cineworld unlimited card if you have one. I can take a friend for free. Just have to find a friend ;-)

That's fine, but the OP needs to go back and edit which particular day of the week this is for.

Orange has offered "Orange Wednesdays" since 2003. This enables any Orange customer be they pay as you go, pay monthly or an internet customer able to apply for 2 for 1 cinema tickets at participating cinemas, by text message.
