Basically I am getting an LG mobile and I want to unlock it but I'm not sure what network to move to. I don't really call people much but I do text a lot so that is a priority to me.
Any advice and I would be grateful

No one can give you a decent answer here!

Everything depends on how much you want to spend, what you expect to get and also what the reception is like in the area you live and intend to use the phone.

Yes you would be well advised to go on both websites & check coverage putting your post code in & choosing whichever gives best reception. Prices on both networks will be very similar :)

Well I really only want to spend £10-£15 month. I know the reception is great were i live. Also I know you get free texts on both but do they run out after a month after topping up??

Daughter moved from O2 to orange because on o1 she was getting 300 free texts for a tenner a month but after that charged at full price and was spending £40 a month ,where as on orange she gets 300 free text for a tenner but she puts £20 on she gets 600 texts free,so she only spends £20

As for pay as you go Orange is much cheaper than O2,and the coverage is great.I would say - Orange.

I would go to your newsagent for an Orange SIM as you get loads of texts and free pop when you get your SIM. Which is also free. I'm on Orange and it is the cheapest

Thanks everyone will try that now, but I'm not sure because my brother is on 02 and he said if he doesnt use up all his texts they roll over to the next month is this true??
