Am looking for a touchscreen phone ,don't know much about them just fancy one,I like the look.

I am with O2 (V3i Razor) and am happy to stay with them, I started off looking at the tocco lite but after a few days surfing the consensus seems to be that the San Fran. is the best deal (already found out u can unlock for free).and in stock at argos.

I can just stretch to £100ish.

Mostly to use for calls and texting but will be handy to check emails but not interested at all in twitter facebook etc.

also quite like the ZTE Racer

I am looking to buy the o/h a new touch screen phone and for the price the San Francisco
was the best I could find. Read up on all the reviews etc and could not see a bad word said
against it. Cannot go wrong with it tbh

It looks to be easily the best buy, my only worry is that I dont actualy need that good a phone for my needs and something like the tocco lite would do me at £45 @TCW

Brought My wife and daughter a San Fransisco for xmas and had a play while the batteries were charging. And I am VERY impressed with it for a £100 phone. Feels fairly snappy to me.

Not sure about other phones, but the battery life is not too clever on the san fransisco.......only lasted about 8 hours and had to recharge, and was not using it that much!!!

What about the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini

well I decided to go for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, but nobody was offering any discounts on o2 and I was getting peeved off fighting the xmas eve crowds, went to argos to get a san francisco and they were out, so was going to compromise and get the LG viewty on o2 for £79, but spotted the smallest orange shop in the world with 2 bored assistants and no customers (carphonewarehouse was packed), the place looked like it was about to close down.

Anyhow being full of cold I mumbled have you got a san francisco... "yes one left" and she showed me it.

Honesty it made the viewty look like a bit of plastic, sod the reviews it looks worth about £400, the assistant asked me the best price I had been quoted and I said £100 at argos (actually £109), so she said she would match it and she said nowt about top ups at which point I noticed the box said £10 preloaded, so it cost me £90.

The best bit after playing for the last 4 hours I checked without much hope and its an OLED screen , what a result well happy.

Unlocked in 5 mins for free @unlock

Oh by the way happy xmas :)
