Total price of £520... I'd go for a 30 day contract you should get more minutes & texts and it will only be around £10 per month then buy a phone offline... If you don't want to go through the hastle go for the Galaxy S2
#2
Iphone and ipad for £65.00 per month! !

Obviously the SGS 2

IF you have only been talking with upgrades then tell them none of those deal are any good and you want your pac code (don't worry, you don't need to use it).
They'll put you through to retentions then, they have the better deals. Its their job to keep you. (they do have limits mind you)....

But NEVER just talk to upgrades. . .

knock it down to £25 p/m and settle for the Galaxy SII and it's a nice deal

ask for prices of the motorola atrix....I got an upgrade on Friday for 18 months, £18 a month + £120 for the phone. It is the most powerful phone out at the moment

go for the s2.

Better then the Atrix?

Do it on online...thats how I did it. Supposedly loads of the phones online are mispriced because they are revamping the site. And the Atrix vs S2 is a heated debate....They are both very powerful phones. Loads of reviews and things on the internet. Fingerprint scanner on the atrix is pretty sweet though

After checking online it is 10% off (loyalty discount) = £27pm (18 months) and £49.99 upfront

I suppose it helped me because I just stayed on the same contract which was already £20. So I got 10% off making it 18 and got to keep it at that price

Just got off the phone again and told them that I was considering going for the following offer, as I didn't really need all my minutes - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-samsung-omnia-7-300-mins-n-300-text-n-flexible-booster-15-32-80-topcasback/949262 and they looked at how much I was paying and they came back with this:

Galaxy S II - 600 Minutes - Unlimited Texts - 1GB Internet - 30 Picture Messages - 24 month contract

For only £17.50pcm!!!

I thought that was a brilliant offer, so I have accepted it.

Thanks for all your advice!

Well After considering one of the options in my initial call (OP), I decided that I was going to go with the Samsung Omnia deal on T-mobile. So I called up to cancel and get my PAC code, when I got through to this nice chap who looked at my bill and understood I have been paying way over the odds in my last contract and then came out with the Galaxy S2 deal.

The phone (not costing me a penny) should be coming tomorrow and I'm awaiting for the written confirmation, as I still can't believe how good it is.

btw. I went through to the 'Upgrades' department, as retentions wasn't an option on the automated system.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. Rang up tonight and they wouldn't even give it me free on £30 pm! Will try again next week as can't cancel my contract till then. He was very pleasant on the phone, but not much help in terms of a good deal!!

Tried upgrading with Orange this evening. - The best they could offer me was 300 mins 550 texts and 500MB internet for £15 pcm with a 'free' Wildfire S on an 18 month contract. - Decided against and went for the Omnia 7 T-Mobile deal that was posted on here.
