lol...have to admit I was guilty of making requests for codes via Facebook until recently when I moved to EE.x

12 years??
that makes me feel so... old

Wow, so I'm guessing this includes EE and T-Mobile too? That's huge, I really enjoyed Orange Wednesdays, saved me a ton of money and helped out friends by paying for their half many times, I guess the only plus side is that cinemas won't be packed on a Wednesday night anymore. :(

Is it just Orange Wednesdays coming to an end or the whole lot? EE call it something different so perhaps its just the name "Orange Wednesdays" that's going.

Damn :(

At least I can now go the cinema on a Wednesday with my unlimited card and not be surrounded by ratty little kids :p

I used to get it with a mate who had an Unlimited Card then I'd get an Orange Weds code then get in for free! so no money involved (well 35p) ;)

Maybe this is to do with BT looking at buying EE.

Doubt it as its ee trying to sell themselves to BT, just like o2 trying to sell themselves, so I doubt they will take something away thats likely to hack off a big part of the existing customer base

This is a shame. We used to go every week to see random stuff that we might not have seen otherwise.

Only day of the week I would go. Rip off otherwise guess vue are gonna have to step up their game as this is pretty much the only offer they have at their cinema and it isn't even their offer. Atleast cineworld have unlimited tickets

We've been discussing this today. My local Vue is dead during the week except for Wednesday and Saturday. Friday nights are quite busy.Super Tuesday only has up to 1/3 off and that isn't pulling in that many punters.

Be interesting to know the rationale behind this decision. The cinema makes most of it's money from concessions so I doubt they pulled out of the deal. Are EE about to be bought out or looking to sell themselves and dropping Orange Wednesday is a pre-requisite ?

Unless I get a reduction on prices I probably won't be going in 2015 except to see Force Awakens.
