Ordered from play.com, already used?

Anybody had anything like this? I ordered a pre-paid card with xbox live points, it arrived this morning after 8 days (pretty long for play..) And its been used? the silver foil scratched off and the code invalid? I'm looking for a number for play, I don't want to have to wait and argue over a chain of email really, but obviously not happy. No order page page in the package either, not sure if there's supposed to be some kind of in-voice withe everything they sell but gives me doubts with the postman.

How likely am I to resolve this? How am I supposed to prove I didn't use this :S

Have you tried contacting them

I recently ordered two sets of 2100 live points from Play and they were delivered last week - they were in the thin cardboard cases and each one was fully sealed in cellophane. I've just checked and they are unscratched - were your cards posted in sealed boxes ? Definetly get in touch with their customer service though, but they will ask for proof that you received them pre-scratched which could be difficult for you to show.

Cheers, don't know why I couldn't find their number. Looking forward to working through the return now...

Yeah mine were 2100 too, and in the plastic case then the thin piece of card inside, no seal on the case and I thought when I opened the envelope it opened a bit easily, pointing my finger at the postman I think, since it took 8 days, and he knocked on about an hour after posting my used code with another one of my parcels from play (boxed headphones) didn't look like he was working, no bag or van with him.

I rang customer services expecting an arguement about how I can't prove I'd used it, but he didn't really seem fussed just said to arrange the return, not too confident it'll be that simple when they get the item back though.

- Oh and no invoice with it either, which my headphones did have but were a seperate order
