My guess is they have a balance on paypal they need to exchange, because they don't have or want a linked bank account as they've just ripped someone off on ebay

My grammar sorry. I meant to say that you are all probably right. When I got ripped off on ebay I filed for a refund via paypal but because the guy had emptied the account and there was no bank account linked to it, I lost my money. He probably did this.

Yeah most likely. Vouchers are a safe bet as they're pretty untraceable. I actually like ebay this week, yesterday I collected this : 280279783888

Pictures a bit poor but it's in mint condition just a bit dirty. Worth at least twice what I paid for it:w00t:

I have sold £10 amazon e-vouchers for £10.32 and £10.62
Dunno why people bid like that, but they have.:?

not genuine bidders- either fraudsters or sellers bidding on their auctions to up the bids

In my case one was genuine, he paid £10.32 for the £10 e-voucher.
The other fraud guy paid after I opened Unpaid Item dispute, I sent voucher, we both left feedback and then...he sneakily went to paypal and reversed the payment. I could'nt send proof of posting as I sent it by email so paypal paid him back. I sneakily used the e-voucher myself and gave him a nice unpaid item strike.
