Oyster Card Question

Does anyone know does the oyster card for the underground revert to a day travel card price if necessary?

I am goiing from Paddington to High Barnet tomorrow but only want to use the Oyster if it won't charge me more than the travel card would.

Thanks everyone.

you can load up the Oyster Card with say, £10 but you wont use ANY MORE than the cost of a 1 Day Travel/Tube Pass as it caps it when it reaches that amount (not sure what "that" amount is)

You can also use it on the Bus as wel iirc

Nice one, quite a strong line up! I bumped in to Arsene on Tuesday.
