come on people, what are the most painful injuries that you have ever suffered including short stories about that dreadful day. My worst is when i fell down the stairs about 8 years ago drunk on new years eve, broke my big toe and my ankle at the same time! teaches me for running down the stairs drunk tbh! lol

fell off a toy motorbike as a kid, went to hospital, said there was nothing wrong. i cried in agony for 2 weeks, they sent me to physio during this time too. had a different hospital appointment later for some other reason and nurse said your leg doesn't look right did you fall. sent me for an xray, had a broken thigh bone the whole time. Worst agony ever. And my parents never sued!!

broken ankle was the worst, that nauseating sick feeling when it turns over and crunches , was dropping down from 6ft high on a skateboard :-(

I think mine would have to be when I fell down a flight of concrete stairs head first, breaking my nose in the process

Being stung by a jelly fish is also painful :)

Ouch ppl!

Starting from top:

Above right eye: Scar - I fell down the stairs when I was a child. My Dad kept his saw there (teeth edge up so as to save carpet) Had to have stitches. My Mum says that it still turns her stomach when she remembers it, apparently you could see bone lol).

Upper gum: When I was 8ish we'd been out and shoved out to play at the park round the corner. There was some lads playing footy and I tripped over a small stone. I had a football smashed into my mouth and it split my top gum across the full width and my top teeth were sitting on my bottom. My sister gets me home and we're off to hospital. They didn't stitch this up as I'd have been seriously scarred. Had to eat soup through a straw for months!! I got a huge panda for being "Mummy's brave soldier" christmas arrives and my sister gets one too! (wasn't happy haha). I was constantly teased with the song "all I want for xmas is my four front teeth" (I know it's 2 but I lost more). Why o why the school photographer didn't tell me to close my mouth and smile that year is beyond me. Not for public display!

Right knee: Tripped on public pavement dip and split knee open. Pulled tights down and wedge of skin went with it (nearly hurled). Was only about 6 stitches though.

Left ankle: Rather long scar here. Had to have plates as I badly fractured tib and fib after stepping off a SMALL step! Have been tempted to have a zip tattoed over the scar but I have nerve damage there and can't bear it to be touched.

Left heel/ankle: When Nana was looking after me as a child I went to park round corner from her. Remember those rickity wooden roundabouts ? this one had slats missing. Foot went down slats as other children continued pushing roundabout. Crawled back to Nana's on hands and knees.

Right big toe: Scar across it where I dropped a can of lilt on it at Bedford swimming pool (the old open air one that my sister and I always snuck in through the hedge LOL). Back then cans of pop were viscious things!

Have been electrocuted a few times in my life LOL (3 times when house flooded and 1 time as a toddler).

All done when NOT drunk I hastened to add!

haha i have done something similar to that, when i was about 7 i had to have eye drops in my eyes and i couldn't see for an hour, walking through town with my parents, sister and brother, they all thought it would be funny to let me walk on my own for a few paces, and them 'not realising' that there was a lampost in front of me!!! Also when i was about 11, i was up north in Liverpool, was in a poundstretcher and they had helium balloons, and i thought i was a big man and tried inhaling it all in at once, i passed out and took 5 shelfs with me

I broke my hand late last year after punching the wall.

Nearly a year on, it still aches at times and I can't trust putting much pressure on it....some people say that's a good thing though, as I would never back down from a fight before that but now I don't know what would happen if I put a lot of strength behind it.

I don't know why people punch the wall to show there toughness, the chances are your not going to knock the wall down with a single punch.

It was out of frustration...the wall didn't look like RSJ though. :giggle:

By the way, I don't know what you're on about your messages...you were gonna beat up a kid because he looked at you before.

Never broke anything I have been lucky.

Only 2 things i've done is:

Ran into a window and burst my head open ( sounds more dramatic than it was lol) but still got scarring.
Severly bruised foot whilst playing football at school, everyone just laughed when it happened thought I was overreacting, on a crutch for a week

Like I said not extreme stuff, nowt compared to you lot.

skateboarding accident ! well not so much an accident but sabotage :x as a nipper back in the 80's (showing my age now) we built a ramp using an old shed door, well it wasnt old it was "borrowed", oh how times have changed.

anyways we built this ramp with nails and stuff, we were proud of our masterpiece with stuff "nicked" from our dads sheds & the other kids were jealous, anyhow we were using it one night when it was dark & someone had nailed 6 inch nails from underneath the ramp and they were sticking up, i went up the ramp fell of the skate board & put me knee on the ramp & one of the nails went straight through & out the other side, pulled me knee off & the blood just spurted out. To say it hurt would be the understatment of the year, it fecking killed me

Ive got other various flesh wounds from when i was a nipper usualy happen about the time of the summer holidays, i had a bed reserved at A&E during the summer. But as kids thats what we used to do., build dens, rope slides, camps ect ect, they dont do it these days ! they'd rather go round fighting & knifing each other :x

do i get a badge now for being a brave boy :w00t:

oh gods yes!!!

When I was about 9 we went on holiday and on the first day I fell off a flying fox on to red stones (no bouncy rubber when I was young lol) landed on my bum but was in AGONY for two weeks I had to trot round Pontins in wales trying to too scream everytime I sat down. went to the doc when I got home (8 hour journey in a car not fun!!!) to find out eventully I had cracked my coccyx.

Or perhaps the time I fell of a horse chasing a bolted horse with a student on it got draged about 40 meters and then the bloody horse stood on my thigh shattering the bone. Yeah that hurt like hell!!
