Panasonic Lumix TZ10 or Sony Cyber-shot HX5???

Hi guys, I have a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 at the moment but it doesn't take very good pictures in low light conditions and also fancy Video HD. I wondered if anyone had any comments to share on the 2 above cameras. Quite fancy the Cyber shot with the panorama sweep. Have been in a few camera shots but they don't stock the Cybershot and being on the Isle of Wight I am quite limited with camera shops. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Thanks Guys.

Currently interested in the TZ10, any thoughts from people, according to CNET the Sony is garbage.

unless you really need the GPS,save some cash and get a TZ7. I was also considering the above models, but got an FZ38 instead. i like it, a lot, but miss having a sony, so may change my mind soon lol.

The TZ10 from Comet after cashback is £208 plus 3% quidco.

You will not beat the HD Movie Mode on the HX5 - I have tried all these top cams and the HX5 was the best, got rid of my HD Camcorder because this thing was so good. - HX5 All the way

I've been watching all the comparison shots at night from this guy -

And the Panny seems well above the Sony.

it is quite decent, little bit noisy especially in low light. But better detail and colours than my previous camera,a sony H20. not properly tested the movie mode but ive heard its a class beater especially where sound is concerned.

From what I've gathered the Fz38 is pretty much identical to the TZ10 other than form factor and zoom lens. Both available at the same price...
