Parcel2Go experience - Dreamcast

Sold a Boxed Dreamcast, keyboard and memory card on another site. Have no means to find the weight at home and post office is a good distance and time away. Found out online that the console weighs 2kg (if anyone knows better please help).

Boxed up and packaged with the accessory's - controller, power and tv cables, VMU and
keyboard I have guesstimated the weight at 3kg. is that to much or to little ?.
I am useless when it comes to thing of this nature.

Does that sound right to anyone ?. As the weight is guessed, would parcel 2 go (using HDNL ) kick up a major fuss if the weight and size ( packaged up its not a perfect square due to keyboard sticking out). are a little off ?.

make sure the replacement cost is covered whoever you use? and dont put what is in it ie put electricals or toys not what it is...
if you over estimate weight you will be ok-dont you have a bag of potatoes you can compare with? or similar..

dunno about using hdnl with parcel to go but with dhl would be fine you dont have to put weight in as long as its less than a certain weight

stand on a set of bathroom scales or wii fit and weigh then do the same holding box

Nothing to compare. Flat is empty ATM. Not even a full bag of sugar :(.

Unfortunately do not have bathroom scales. Don't believe in constant monitoring of my weight. I know I'm fat end of . If the ladies don't like me tough on them.

Can you ask someone at the Post Office to weigh it?

Unfortunately not really. As in my original post its a good distance to go and I have no car.

I have been playing the the quick quote thing on parcel2go and even at 9kg its the same price. No way it can be that heavy can it ?.

For the price is HDNL OK ?. Would be for the UK standard 3+ days service at £6.99.

Have the weight super close guesstimated to around 5.5kg. Put some freezer stuff in a bag and compared the weigh on each arm. DIY at its greatest. :P

Can I just get peoples opinions on HDNL now please ?. I understand from word of mouth that they aint the best but as they are the cheapest by a few pound is it worth it ?.

Will give these a go. Unlike parcel2go they don't make/let you chose which courier will handle the pick up and delivery. Unsure if thats a plus or negative lol.

For a few pee :p more they do next day delivery.
