Lucky enough to win a couple of tickets to the England vs Croatia game.

We'll be driving down the M1 from Nottingham and were wondering where would be good to park and get the underground to Wembley.

Currently looking at parking at Watford train station but would like advice from anyone who has any better suggestions.

Cheers, Jon

Park at Stanmore underground station, it's £3 for the day and only 2 stops north of Wembley, and after game not many people head in that direction. I will be there as got tickets with 3 mates, enjoy the game

why not park at wembley? Its £22.50 for the day and its a secure car park, the M1 goes straight into wembley

I went on saturday and queues weren't that bad actually, lots of car parking in the industrial estate around wembley, and within 3/4 mins of parking, but they fill up quickly
I think the local parking will fill up for a world cup qualifier quite quickly so looking for somewhere further out. Thanks all for the advice, rep added - will probably go for Stanmore.
still 700 spaces left at wembley! You pay online, then turn up on the day with your printed receipt as proof!

Watford is to far buddy and parking isnt easy.

As i offered faevilangel tghe other day you are more than welcome to park down my road and take the jubilee to wembley which is 2 stops
You can park right opposite the ground (150 metres) for £10 with very easy access for getting away afterwards. From the M1 you travel about 2 - 3 miles through Neasden and over the iron bridge, you then turn left off the A406 (NCR) sign posted to the stadium which is 200 metres before IKEA on the opposite side of the road. However don't take any of the car parks until you have actually gone up to the stadium itself and are starting to go away from it. By doing this you are on the right side to make an easy exit. You can be back on the M1 within 15 mins of the final whistle.
