your more likely to win on the free tables as people are more wreckless as its not their money, once you get on the cash tables it gets a lot harder, im talking from experience.
#5

I play at full tilt poker....I'm nearly a millionnaire......albeit fake lol

full tilt poker better than party poker?
#9
I got fed up with playing free tables on Party Poker. It's not proper poker as people get reckless as its not real money and they know they can just get more.

I think it is. Its pretty good. I'm gonna finally bite the bullet and put £50 real money into it at the end of the month :-)

www.pokerstars.com is the best one I have played on

Full tilt aint so bad, but if you make a profit, it comes back via cheque which is in $$ and you get charged to change it :-(

there is never any point in playing poker for free money, you cant even call it practice, no-one takes it seriously and make bets they wouldnt normally make if it was their own.

its a bad habbit.

Quite right virtually every hand you always get someone going all in with rubbish and it tends too beat your better hand so it is just annoying. Free play tornaments are a bit better if you can get past the couple of thousand muppets and get to the serious players, takes a few hours though and can just be annoying. Went all in with a pair of jacks once after about 3 hours and got called by a 10,3 offsuit. It was a large amount and the other player still had plenty of chips. You can guess which hand won.

Whats her full name?

I may try pokerstars -

WOuld be good if we could create a private table - each put in £5 and play :)

did you know people use poker calculators as they play online? I never touched online poker again after I found out about these...
#17
It beats me how people can play poker online anyway. The whole point of the game is to read your opponent as well as his cards. Take that away and the game just becomes a game of luck with no skill involved.

The poker calculators only tell you things you should know anyway so it's not a massive advantage, once you've used a calculator for a year or so it's more annoying that usefull especially on tourney tables - whats worse in my book is people using stuff like MSN to gang up on tables & sharing hands.

The poker trackers that gather info on other players are also a big advantage but only if you play real money tables not tourneys and only if you spend a long time at the same tables.

and thats simply not true although it is a diferent set of skills required to play online.

worto.
